Thyme Warrior | Attentive | Loyal mate- Juniper (Skydancer) nestmates- none w/in the clan close friends- Juniper (Skydancer) bonded familiars- mistral minion Thyme and her Skydancer mate, Juniper, recently moved here from Nature clan Oakheart, located a few days trek from clan Aceraceae's territory. they immigrated here as an act of goodwill from Oakheart, knowing full well that Aceraceae's own defenses were not quite up to snuff compared to other clans (Minerva certainly appreciated the new recruits to strengthen her defense squad's meager numbers). while the Skydancers are happy to help out Aceraceae and give their best effort, they're still somewhat loyal to and fond of their previous clan, and have yet to feel completely comfortable on this new soil. Thyme, though young compared to most of Minerva's defense squad, is a skilled warrior in her own right-- fierce and unrelenting, she will not waver until her clan and loved ones are out of danger, or her assignment is completed. Minerva is impressed by the Skydancer's determination, perhaps even surpassing her own more competition-fueled determination, and has taken it upon herself to give Thyme a few battling pointers that only the wisdom of age could bring (Minerva's Harpy companion, Lea, would argue that it's less age and more of the ridiculous amount of times the Spiral got her rump handed to her in her youth). Thyme's combination of attentiveness, determination, and patience have set her on track to hold a high position in the clan's defense squad at some point in the near future. Minerva has suggested giving her the position of battle strategist, and Thyme, despite any reluctance she may still have about joining this clan, likes the sound of that title. for now, Thyme helps patrol clan borders during daylight hours. the Skydancer's quiet patience is a constant even outside the heat of battle or training, and she carries a rather unassuming presence in the clan. while not shy, Thyme does lean more heavily introvert, and treasures time spent alone in her own thoughts. she most enjoys lounging in bright patches of grass and sunning her pelt after a training session, the warmth gradually soothing and unfurling her tense and weary muscles. she's slowly opening up a bit more as she warms up to the clan, but as it is, Thyme only spends a significant amount of time with Minerva for training, and her mate at most other times. |
