Years ago, a small azure and ash grey egg was found within Wispwillow Grove by a group of stragglers; they picked it up and watched the blue luminescent oval pulsate within their hands, showing a black figure every so often the light brightened. The travellers took the unborn back to their lair, a jaded rock cavern within the Cliffside of Tangled Woods. When the elders were out looking for food, leaving the egg behind, a small tapping noise echoed through the cave. Shell started to fall upon the soil and a small arm reached out – touching earth for the first time. As an Imperial was flying low among the barren pine trees, he heard small squeals and curiosity took the better of him; he drifted down and ventured inside; where a tiny snapper was trotting around the cave, spotting him she let out a little squeak and a smile spread across her face. After staying for a few hours with no sign of guardianship or parents, Loki wrapped her up in a rough burlap sack and took her back to his family. Current days, Narlor is a sweet, patient girl. Although originating from the shadowlands with murky purples swirling in her eyes, when the light touches her scales and the rays seep into her iris’, the purples churn into a beautiful violet that mimics the lilacs and burnt yellows that rumble across the skies at sunset. She feels more at peace when laying in the meadows, basking in the warmth and isolates herself from any of the tricks and deceptions lead from her kind; but sometimes this makes her feel uneasy, as if she should be following the rules of the Shadowbringer, but with her heart and mind settled with the Lightweaver, she must accept how she has become. Loki bought her up by his side, with the little snapper sitting near him while he forged great swords and filigree helmets of iron. She watched as she grew, learning how each hit of his hammer on the molten ore shaped the creation. She learned, she understood and now she resides in his trade as his student. When she is not with the runesmith, you will find her in the depths of the libraries, reading ancient scrolls and scrounging through relics from the elders. Her hunger for knowledge continues to grow every day. Narlor continues to learn about the past world, where her ancestors trailed across the lands, and the gods created Sornieth.
