Eternally devoted.
Though Hearth seems fierce, his name shows the warm, gentle dragon beneath the scales. The giant protector of the clan, he is a great teddy bear around children (and his mate) who often use him a living jungle gym. That is not to say that he is incapable of violence or negative emotions- simply that he tends to avoid them. He prefers to use his brute strength and battle skill to keep his clan safe (and keep the more mischievous members in line). He considers the clan as a whole to be his "charge" and will protect it no matter what will come. While the drake misses every departed member, he understands that some may wish to see lands outside their territory. They will always have a place in the clan and his heart.
