Aggressive and a loner, that was all anyone really knew about Ebony. She was brash, cold, fast to pick fights, cocky. The picture of rebellion. She had left the pack she'd been raised with, not wanting to follow anyone else's orders. She was convinced she could have her own pack. Little did she know how difficult that would be. It was easy to work with others.. but only for a short while.

One day she spotted a small red fae, trying to hard to communicate with other dragons. Much bigger and far more furious dragons. Despite the constant denials and occasional lash outs, he didn't seem to want to give up trying. This peaked Ebony's interest. He had been settled in her temporary home, finally returning to it after a long day. Once he was back she swooped in to address how interesting he was. She was willing to work with him; She wanted a pack, and he wanted a clan. They could both have what they wanted... and so much more.

Thus the clan was started...

Ebony noticed over time she had started to develop a fondness for the smaller fae. She knew he had eyes only for her, she'd known for a long time. The mirror began to bring him gifts, ranging from apparel to food to familiars. Whatever she knew he'd like. Ebony also became very noticeably protective of him, lashing out at dragons that pushed the fae just a little too much for her liking. It didn't matter if it was another fae or an imperial, she would go after them and defend Spatter and everything he believed.

The two eventually confessed to each other, the fae far more flustered, his crests moving in ways Ebony had never seen. They rule over the clan together, Spatter more lenient and open to ideas while Ebony is strict and far more skeptical of certain ideas and dragons. They balance each other out well and couldn't be happier together.
