Iris

Wind dragons are explorers, always poking their snouts into places where they shouldn't. Iris has never done much to break this stereotype. As soon as her wings grew strong enough to hold her weight, she went off to see the world. Eventually, her travels brought her to the Sunbeam Ruins. While wandering through the Light lands, she ended up taking shelter for the night in an abandoned lair in the Hewn City. Now, any dragon worth their scales knows to be wary when visiting that Shade-stricken place, but Iris was young and foolish. She didn't notice the warnings scratched into the walls, or the suspiciously lifelike statues scattered throughout the otherwise empty cave. It was pure luck that the curse cast on the lair had faded over the years, so the effects weren't quite as deadly as it had been on the clan that originally dwelt there. However, Iris learned a valuable lesson about the benefits of caution when she woke up in the morning to find that her sunset-colored hide had turned to stone!
