Perhaps he should pick up some healing skills from his cousins. They aren't so loathsome as Lylic makes them out to be now that Insect Law has passed and Insect catcher is a position in more than name only, to transition to sampling the insects others gather. His Plague-inherited stomach can safely digest most toxins, so he claims he is doing so to vet which ones are too poisonous for others, but in truth he is selecting his favorite-tasting beetles and deeming the termites he dislikes fit for general consumption to hock up bile for the Scion of Frost to sniff at, and in exchange receive healcasting lessons (completed, earning his White Wingcloth of the Healer, to the disgust of his mother) |
