Biography

I am a warrior born and bred. I always knew it would fall to me to guard a lair, defend it one day. But years passed and I did not find the mate that would be my match. Then sparkling like snow and water she appeared.. and she roared challenge. She wished to claim a lair, a mate.. who would stand at her side?

There was never a question.. I was her mate. I would fight any challenger that claimed otherwise. I would win.

The small one.. timid as mouse.. it did not like me at first. I was too big, too dark....I reminded her of what she fled from I think. I did not like her either.. how could this timid thing help us hold and build a lair. But the small one was willing to work, and smart enough to seek out among the clanless, the homeless.. seek those who would build our lair.

She found the twisting one and started sending us to fight.. she sought out the best advantages for us, she had patience and calmness where i did not. So I would stay still when Singer sent her to decorate me. In time I understood that if we were all alike we would have fought too much and ripped the lair apart.

Singer is beauty and love. I am fierce and protective. Trinista is quick and agile. The small one is patient and smart enough to learn. She brings the small companions to the lair constantly, tames them and pairs them with us. She watches over our treasure and horde, managing both with a skill that makes me wonder if she was meant to be a dragon herself.

I am the lord of this lair, I will see my children grow stong and serve their lord. I am Ortham.. I fight alone no more.
