Biography

I flew among the clouds for years. I had no wish for the bindings the trapping of lair and clan...

I was the snow cloud that drifted past unseen. Then she saw me and cried my name aloud.. and I knew the small one was mine and I hers. "Where?"

The little one shook her head, "I do not care. Someplace high and distant, some place the wind can cry and sing."

So I grabbed her up and she trusted me. I came to the Windswept Plateau, hoping the laughter here would restore her, that the isolation of the lairs would assure her. I roared challenge.. for I could not take a lair alone. Dark to my light.. the opposite of me, a fighter proven in battle.. Ortham would be a fine mate even if at first the small one was uncertain.

Sending her to make braids of beads and feathers for him has finally calmed her to him. She watches over the treasure, the horde and the new arrivals. But still her heart cries for something that can not be found here nor given.

Do I still wish the freedom of the clouds and life alone? I look to my clan and see them growing stronger.. I look to my mate patiently putting up with the small one, I look to my second.. twisting and agile..

This is my clan. This is what I rode the winds seeking. The small one cried my name, I answered and my world has never been the same. For that I rejoice.
