Ever since her clan in the Sunbeam Ruins disbanded, Tunturi has lived a lonely life. She moved to the Southern Icefields, where she made a home for herself on an isolated island. She blames herself for the destruction of her home and the deaths of her friends. After all, it was her that fell victim to Grislow's charm and wit.

After a while, the frigid cold got to her. As a Nocturne, she was not made for tolerating such a cold climate. She made a decision to turn herself into a Gaoler, a child of the South. In time, even her eyes grew paler and more akin to those of an Ice dragon. To the few that would witness her presence, she was of the Ice flight, though deep within her Water magic would still flow.

Tunturi allowed herself to forget her past as a member of the Water flight, a denizen of the Light territories, and a leader of her beloved clan. With her familiar, a Yeti who had acted as her bodyguard for years as her only friend, she let sorrow take over.
