What was that? Why does it seem like something is right behind me, in the trees?
Moss Shadow-of-Trees is a big, shaggy, quiet, gentle and unsettling dragon. He moves soundlessly and is expert at blending into vegetation. He is a master stalker who loves to see how long and closely he can track animals through the forest before they notice. Despite his vegetarianism, he's very useful in the clan's hunting packs, even though he refuses to lead packs or kill prey. He is also fond of similarly stalking his clan-mates, which is sometimes less well received.
Moss is endlessly patient and kind, but most of his clan take great pains not to annoy him, especially the hatchlings with which he is entrusted. His clan-mates may have differing opinions about Moss, but nobody denies that he trains excellent Shadow-hunters. His knowledge of the local flora and its culinary, medicinal and recreational properties is deep and extensive.
