Biography

Most at the Crossroads know Vestri as The Fortuneteller. She was the eldest female when she arrived, which was shortly after two water dragons. Perhaps it is strange that she, and not they, gained the reputation for being an oracle. It could be the difference between their water-bred mysteriousness and her more outgoing curiosity. The Starfall Isles native is a bit of a busy body, truth be told, but her clever wit and knowing smiles endear her to the majority she comes across. It's a conviviality that may be expected in a coatl, and in that she's no exception. Free with gifts both physical and inherent, she serves as something of a mentor to younger members of the clan due to her warmly granted ear and humorously delivered advice. When it comes to her own personal life, traces of her wild youth are still in evidence. Vestri is a lusty lady, even now that her golden years are upon her. It's not uncommon to hear her comment on a male's well-arched neck, though the best of her bawdy gossip is saved for her bosom friend Rosaline. It seems unlikely that she'll ever settle down - Vestri just has too much passion for life to be fettered. But as her friend Rosaline has taken a more steady mate, the coatl has also seemed to settle on her own pearlcatcher: Sasha of the Icewarden's domain. How long they will remain paired is anyone's guess ... perhaps Vestri can see it in her rune-etched tarot cards. |
