ooooThough she's been in the clan for quite some time, not much is known about her yet.Although her heart is forever bonded to the twisting, grotesque lands of Rotrock Rim, Ington knew she needed to leave her homeland to better herself. A relationship with a dragon turned sour, and the entire ordeal left a bitter taste in her mouth. Remaining in the Plague atmosphere only served as a reminder of what had once been. She found herself drifting into her own mind and wondering what she could have done differently. She caught on to the unhealthiness of her mindset; one day, she packed only the most essential of survival items in her bags, and left. She has not once looked back. ____Ington arrived just before Syncraci had decided to relocate to the Focal Point, announcing herself to the entire population as a traveling blacksmith looking for work. Ever since leaving the Plague lands, Ington had been relying on her experience with weaponry to get by, and had honed her skills in the time between traveling. The sheer size of the group excited her, as a dragon enamored with the thought of making new connections. Never before being a part of a single clan, Ington was enthralled with the idea of having even just semi-permanent clan mates. Even though she was only in the Star Wood Strand location for a short while, Ington decided to stick with the clan as they moved, having already spoken to and sized up many of the clan members. ____She has an air about her that demands genuine respect, although she seldom raises her voice or displays any scare tactics. Strangely enough, even though she is quite approachable and pleasantly articulate, some describe her as being instinctively intimidating. In reality, she enjoys talking to anyone who can hold a conversation and will continue being courteous even if she finds herself bored with the other speaker. But if anyone were to ever cross her, or her loved ones, they would get a real taste of her silver tongue and frightening display of deadly calm. ____Her hands and feet are stained a deep, striped red from her dedication to her metalworking craft, and the nerves in all of her extremities are dulled. Her "asbestos hands" are not only somewhat resistant to flames, but also to many of the diseases and sicknesses from her natural Plague homeland. As a result, she has an immune system as strong as steel and rarely gets ill. Henbria values this quality and loves having Ington as backup in medical emergencies. ____Those who talk to Ington often find themselves saying more than they initially planned to reveal. She is excellent at conversational cues and considers herself an expert on body language. Even Sephemt has sidled alongside her for a few short sessions, although no one is sure what exactly they discuss. Her work in forgery has allowed her to frequently meet with Etstra and any dragon in the defense branch of the clan. Even though she is masterfully good at conversation, Ington struggles to open up about herself, and get mutually close to anyone. Regardless, she is friendly with many. ____Sharp-sighted and quick on her feet, Ington may not look like she is supremely powerful, but physical strength lies shallowly under her skin. She is not to be trifled with, her many scars can attest to that. ____She hoards baskets of any size, shape, and make. The ones that don't fit in her hands (and there are many) end up being used as bowls, decorations, and occasionally, beds. |
