Seeks Knowledge through Sensing

Knowledge is both a curse and a blessing, and no one knows this more then Dawn. Since birth, he has been extremely sensitive to the world around him, easily able to read the magical energies that flowed so freely.He is especially sensitive to the auras of other dragons, able to tell the feelings or personality of others with little effort. He rarely shows off his gifts however, he doesn't like to make his Clanmates uncomfortable. He is extremely self-conscious when it comes to his powers. In fact, he has expressed his desire to just be normal, without any kind of special abilities, to his mate. She however is normal in every definition of the word, so she can only sympathize with him, not empathize.

Because of his reservation about his powers, he talks little with others and is afraid to truly get close to them. His constant sensing has his mind tired, and he is always distant acting in conversation. If he could turn off his powers, he would do so, but so far he has not found the ability to do that. He truly believes it is a sixth-sense for him, as impossible to switch off as it would be to make yourself stop feeling or seeing. No one truly realizes the extent that this takes a toll on his mind and body, especially since a side effect of his powers is insomnia. He tries not to let his exhaustion show, as he doesn't want anyone to worry, but he sometimes unknowingly displays symptoms of his tiredness.
