Jewel

Named for the collection of gem-like scales that dot her body in a rust-red color, Jewel is one of the smaller dragons in the Clan. Fleet on wing and lighthearted like most from her native Flight, no one's exactly sure why she made the switch from wind-swept plateaus and currents to the mangled shadows and bramble of the Tangled Wood. Cheerful in comparison to the more mischievous, if not somewhat withdrawn, Nela, Jewel's motto is "The day will get better".

With this attitude reflected in most of her daily pursuits, from clearing bramble and making room as the Clan begins to grow and change, Jewel is determined to let some of the sunlight infiltrate the Clan's current encampment. Although it's a difficult task, she foresees a day when their Clan will have a patch of sunlight to crawl to, rather than having to fly so high up.

Along with being optimistic (almost boundlessly, at that), Jewel is...determined. At least, that's the more polite wording for her often stubborn nature that leads her to not back down and, despite her cheeriness, land her into arguments with other members that do not share her opinions. In her stubbornness, she is often narrow-minded and portrays a certain one-mindedness towards whatever goal she is pursuing at the time, without bothering to take the potential consequences into consideration, if she stays to listen to the qualms of others at all.
