Biography

Howard is Sarnath and Ilena's firstborn son... and hatched when the pair were still deeply entrenched in the building of their fortune-telling magnum opus, the Rune Clock. The pair clumsily tried to include the little Howard in its construction and operation by making him official Scribe of the Guestbook (responsible for signing in dragons who came seeking the Clock's advice).

But the days of the Rule Clock are long gone. As one of the Windhover Clan's oldest members, Howard is still deeply respected by the rest of the dragons... but it's a grudging respect. Howard has the skills and training to be a great warrior, but he rarely fights these days. instead, he prefers to spend his days in the hatchery, reading scrolls, telling stories to the youngest dragons and helping new parents build their nests.
