"Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom." Heidra traveled to Clan Tintreach during a strange lunar eclipse that lasted for a full week. With her, she brought the practices of her birth clan and their magic from a land in which much is not known, except the use of bones is highly important to all rituals. Heidra settled into her new clan with surprising ease, and while she may come off as strange and downright creepy, the spiral dragon is able to get along well with any dragon within Clan Tintreach. She settled down into a corner of the clan's lair where she would work together her knowledge and magic to create potions and tinctures necessary for the warriors when they went to the coliseum. She also would heal them after battle, and learned to fight herself by the side of Mirta. The two grew terribly close through their training, and treat each other like confidants. Heidra is also responsible for leading a fallen clan member's passing ritual, and helping those that will be exalted prepare. While Heidra is asexual, she found love in Stjarna, a spiral male that had lived within the clan far longer than she. The two reared a nest twice, hatching several children. While most of their children were off to other clans or were exalted to serve their deities, Honi remained behind to serve as her mother's assistant. Heidra taught her daughter the ways of their ancestors, hoping one day Honi would become the next Shaman when Heidra inevitably passed on. Her mate Stjarna found a higher calling and went forth to roam the world, aiding others in his process. He still sends care packages home to her. |
