Richter does a lot of research in regards to myths and legends, and runs the Clan Archives with his partner, Elda. His archives have records of every dragon ever hatched into the Clan, including where they went, be it to other clans or to serve the great Deities themselves. Richter also keeps logs of all of the familiars in the Clan, down to which dragons bonded with which Familiar, and what the Familiar was named.

Richter is also a dragon to offer his assistance to anyone in the Clan in case they need it. He feels like it's the courteous thing to do, even if he'd rather not. It's not often, but every now and then, someone will request his assistance with something, and while Richter will give aid, he will be rolling his eyes behind the requester's back at every chance. He will even gripe and complain to himself about it for days after while he's alone, often grumbling about a pulled muscle. The only dragons he helps with minimal sass and complaining are his beloved Elda, and the ever-patient Shizen.

Despite all of the complaining Richter does around others, he is actually a lot more laid-back than Elda in regards to strangers. He was also raised among the chaos of the clan's initial founding and growth, yet he chose to not allow the negativity to influence his mindset. His decision has remained unchanged since, and it serves himself and his clan well. It is especially helpful when the clan gets new additions from outside, and Richter needs to keep Elda from killing them until she accepts them as new family.

A little known fact about Richter, is that the Skydancer carries demon's blood in his veins. His father feared the power Richter had inherited from his mother, and ended up sealing it in the ruby ring Richter now wears. As a result of his bloodline, he is very sensitive to other dragons bearing similar family lines.
