Her growth stunted and permanently stuck at cute young snapper due to draconian dwarfism, Cinderfall is a valued member of the clan. She primarily tends and monitors the clan's nests, her small size allowing her to move among the eggs without harming them. Much of the rest of her time is spent with the newest hatchlings, before they grow and move on to other clans or the Windsinger's service. They often find her more relatable than any of the adult-sized dragons, and run to her when they have bad dreams or when they've misbehaved, relying on Cinderfall's big innocent eyes to keep them out of trouble. The smallest hatchlings frequently try to hide in her pile of hoarded stuffed toys and toasty jackalope pelts, with varying levels of success.

The other clan members Cinderfall is closest to make frequent visits to the hatchling den. Screziato brings treats found while foraging (usually just for Cinderfall, but any vegetarian hatchlings are welcome to share), and Eun stops by to add the latest little ones to the records, and almost always stays to tell them a story or two. With the arrival of Tisane, Cinderfall actually has some time to herself, generally when all the hatchlings are away for lessons. She most often spends it on the move, whether that's accompanying Patula on his patrol or keeping Pelangi company while he paints.
