Gaetane

Gaetane does not talk much about her past; to be truthful it's largely because she's not entirely sure what happened. She has the kind of gap in her memory that would be totally normal for a Tundra but is significantly less so for a Skydancer. She has a vague idea that the Shade may have something to do with it, but she's tried to put it behind her, to no avail.

What she does know is that she went into battle with four other dragons. Two fought with her, one saved her from a lifetime of Shade-touched possession, and one betrayed them all for her own gain. She's fuzzy on who did what, as when she came to fully, she was all alone and missing two limbs.

Now, having come across two of the four, she's not quite sure what to make of them; one doesn't remember any of this at all and the other is brittle and contrary, and they're constantly at each others' throats. The third, she thinks, might be in Shadow territory now; the fourth seems to have vanished forever.

Gaetane was once more of an engineer and craftsdragon -- she once assisted with the creation of great machines of war, she recalls fuzzily -- but truth be told she only dabbles in science nowadays and prefers to avoid anything with a practical bent.
