Ani is a Guardian that once was a wanderer, lost thorough Sornieth after leaving her previous Clan, looking for her Charge or, perhaps, merely a lair who'd accept her. Humongous in size, though nowhere near an Imperial, she was intimidating by nature and many walked the other way when she appeared. As such, bringing herself to find a home was hard, but that was not a priority, no. Her Charge, instead, was what she needed to find, but fate would be kind upon this one. In one single blow, she'd find a home, a mate and a Charge (and a lover, perhaps, though a timid one). When she found herself in the lands where her kind was first born, she knew instantly her search would soon end.

It did, and now she has her Zircon, her ever-loyal mate, and her little Neela, her Charge (▬ some say 'suspected', but no, no. She's sure of it, she desires to protect the tiny nervous Fae more than anything in the world), which now she keeps company in her officine chamber, being her assistant if only to keep her from harm and ease the Fae's often herculean job.
