Asu has never quite been beautiful in the eyes of many, and faced much teasing as a fledgeling when he was tugged from his home in Meristema by the Search. But he never let it bother him nor cause him to view himself as any less, for he has always been a firm believer that true beauty lies within in the heart... and this conviction soon led him to his unorthodox charge: The confidence of other dragons.

Descendants of Asu may not often be beautiful to the eye, but they have some of the purest and noblest of hearts to be found. They are valiant, level-headed souls, deterred by neither insult nor ridicule, and are often deeply trusted confidants to their clans.
