Cebrian

Cebrian used to keep to himself, though he's not unfriendly. He and Xandra share a lot of esoteric interests, and he likes to go exploring from time to time. And then Celsus happened.


Celsus tried to tease him about the robes and the diadem. In response, Ceb put on a Fire accent and gold claw tips. He figures if Celsus is going to pick on him for being ostentatious, he might as well go all-out.


Cebrian has been quietly trying to encourage his friend to pay more attention to Aphrodisia, not because he minds the arguments with Celsus, but because the Imperial is feeling left out. Once he realized the other Coatl enjoyed his teasing, Ceb started teaching Aphrodisia the barbs that work best on the loud mage.

He says he doesn't want a scarf, so she's been trying to figure out what to make him instead. If he doesn't make up his mind soon, he's going to end up with a woolly bobble hat, just because Aphrodisia doesn't appreciate the games as much as her mate does.

Cebrian and Eha come from two different disciplines, and the Coatl loves talking about the differences with his mystical mate.

(If you can't tell, Cebrian ships Celsus and Aphrodisia like it's his job, which is the main reason he's never made a serious play towards the other Coatl)

Celsus: Nice hat. I see she couldn't figure out how to get a bobble on it.
Cebrian: It is a nice hat. When did Aphrodisia start weaving?
Celsus: She has been for a while, actually. Ask Dor. That hat is a step above anything else she's made, though.
Cebrian: Except your scarf.
Celsus: *preens* Well, yes. Of course.

Cebrian: Yes?
Spellwrought Ambassador: Your friend turned me down.
Cebrian: I mean he would, wouldn't he? Come on in and have some tea. You can stay here.
