Eira

Eira was born during the Crystalline Gala, and her earliest memories were accompanying the small group of dragons that went to visit the Ice Territory to look for Eternal Snows. Visiting the frozen tundra and snowy mountains seemed to oddly affect the young Ridgeback; her once gold scales slowly turned to cool blue, and she began to seem more at home in the frigid terrain than any Nature dragon should be. She threw a huge tantrum when the group left to return to the Viridian Labyrinth, crying into a Icewarden doll a kindly stranger had given her.
Sometime after returning, Asherah was tending to the child when the youngster seemingly created a flurry of snow and ice out of thin air. The Imperial recoiled, and immediately reported the odd occurrence to Saule and Chiara. Chiara asked Bragi, who explained how possessive and controlling the Icewarden could be over the dragons he considered his. It seemed likely to god had some sort of pull over child, and sure enough, some weeks later a Frostbite Hummingbird appeared in their lair. It affixed itself to Ridgeback, and the two have been inseparable ever since. It was clear to Chiara that this situation was something best not fought, and so she encouraged Bragi to carefully teach Eira the histories and traditions of Ice dragons, and how to hone her unusual magic.
Since then, the system of appointing a warrior and priest for each dragon god was created, and there was no contest over who the Icewarden's chosen fighter would be. Eira had overtime grown to fit the ideals of her patron quite well- she was unusually unemotional and goal-oriented for a Nature dragon.
