The clan of whistling winds

The clan of the whistling winds is located in a spacious bamboo grove of the reed cleft ascent. known for it's general friendliness, the clan is a welcoming one, but they will not hesitate to fight if ever provoked.

like every clan, the clan of whistling winds has their own traditions and customs too: from birth, young dragons are not only taught about the wind flight, but about the others too. the clan takes in outsiders and exalted dragons who no longer wish to serve, and if any dragon wants to leave, they can at any time: a small celebration is called when a dragon is to be exalted to the windsinger, where dragons from the clan give the to-be-exalt small special trinkets.

when a dragon begins to mature (after the age of five days), it will be put through a series of tests conducted by the leader, the leader's advisor, the healer, the lead guard, the (three) lead gatherers, the lead fighter, and the ambassadors to see which path the dragon should take. each of the aforementioned dragons would observe the fledgling during their test and later on discuss which path the young dragon should take.

the dragon and their parents also have a say in this, and if the dragon is not satisfied with the path that has been chosen for them, they may switch to another early on in their apprenticeship. when a dragon is twelve moons old, it will be put through another test to qualify as a true member of the clan.
