Wanderers seeking death, welcome
Clan Info
Please check out my Hibernal Den! I have pretty dragons in there for lore reasons, not just storage!
Name: Aren. Gender: Male. Friendly: Probably, if you have food. Currently obsessed with Bloodborne, Dark Souls, and Hollow Knight. Artist. Dorm-mate of ponywarrior, whatevenisthis, and HelplessWanderer (I got them into the game haha Fr please don't block me)
If you message me and I don't reply for a while, please try again- I have short term memory issues and often simply forget about it while coming up with a reply, I'm not trying to ghost you
(Fr blog is sickeningrot)
THIS IS AN EXALTING LAIR. If your dragon is named VIRUS or INFECTION, they WILL be exalted. I will let you buy them back from me, though, just shoot me a pm
Read about lore below
Clan anthem:
Flames dance above blood-red seas
Blood drips off of bone
High above our enemies wheedle and flee
Triumphed, we roar and flyaway home
Introduction:
Halt! Who dares enroach upon our hunting grounds? Claws up, stranger, close those pretty jaws- we don't want to knock out those fine teeth of yours. Don't dare try to escape- we're all around you, and we're much more accoustomed to this land than you are. All it takes is one bite, and you'll be infected with something not found elsewhere in the Plagemother's realm- something that only we know the cure to. Prove yourself an enemy, and you will spend the rest of your days wandering the Contagion, slowly being eaten alive from the inside out by your own body. Prove yourself a friend, and you'll have our claws at your service forever...If you come here to join our clan, then you must prove your strength in battle, for life here is tough, and we want no help from a dragon who cannot fight. Dragonets, you are welcome without proof- we'll shape you into what you need to be. Now, stranger, wings up, fangs out- there's a hunting party setting out, and if you do not wish to be cast from our territory tonight, you will have to prove your worth in blood.
Clan Leaders: TAKHANOBOU and ******
Heir of Ascention: SHARDHI
Clan Spellcasters: NAIRENE and SAPHIRA
Clan Mercenaries: SOLORIS and SHIRAH
Clan Healers: VENUS, JUNIPER, and LYCOLTA
Clan Type: SCAVENGERS, HUNTERS, OUTCLAWS, HIRECLAWS, and WARRIORS
Services/definition of hireclaw: A warrior that is rented out to aid piracy, border patrol, or clan wars, paid in blood, food, and gold
Subunits within the Clan of No Name: The main lair-dwellers are lead by Takhanobou and his mate, ******. The lair, constructed under the Scarred Wasteland, is a hidden fort that welcomes only new clan-mates, sacrifices, and customers. We are the hireclaws, and our services extend to any and all dragons, provided you have the money and will to see our deed through to completion. This is a clan proper, with hatchery, love, and life to it, and is open to those who are capable of proving themselves strong enough to brave the Plaguebringer's wilderness.
The campers over the lair are not loyal to the Clan of No Name. They are merchants, pirate merchants, who rob, trick, and murder for gold and glory. The raiders, Freja, Frieda, and Ragnok, are dangerous, and not to be approached. Fasolt sells Freja's goods, and works in union with Zaniah, but the scarlet pearlcatcher is not one with the raiders and is trusworthy only as long as you have the gold or gems to pay her with.
The traveling tricksters are not to be trusted. Named of beastclan gods, sins, and demons, they rest here only because those who pursue them are too fearful to venture forth into the Mother's domain, and because their fanciful dances and jests amuse the little ones. If you fall to their tricks, mind not to blame us for it. We do not appreciate it.
Oh, and pay no mind to the Emperor wailing in the distance. It'll fall to the rot soon enough.
Note to wanderers: The Scarred Wasteland is that the terrain is made up of bogs, dense patches of untouched forestry, mud flats full of hot, bubbling pools of bacteria, and desert.
On the outskirts, the land is pockmarked with sinkholes and caverns, made of crumbly sandstone dyed red from the bacteria and algae growing in pools of stagnant water around it. Creeping vines, slime molds, and other flora caught between bog life and advancing desert cover the area, reaching out over the caverns to the lands beyond. The hot, moist air, crumbly soil, and pools of standing water create a perfect environment for bacteria, mosquitoes, and fungi to thrive in, and is surprisingly rich with life, considering the fact that a single cut could have you consumed in a week. This is a fertile hunting ground for dragons used to the Plague, though non-plague dragons should be wary of the toxins that many of the resident wildlife wield. Many of the bogs, swamps, and forests in the Plaguelands thrive here, and where the edges of the Wandering Contagion and the Abiding Boneyard meet, bubbling mud flats, geysers, and boiling ponds can be found, dyed rich rainbow colours by the thermobacteria living there. It's a wonderful tourist location- if you have the moxie to survive the wilderness around it.
In the middle, the Abiding Boneyard stretches. This is the lowest part of the Plaguelands, the hottest, and the most desolate. Scorched by the sun, the seared earth is pure desert, with sands bleached by long years without life. Thick, bone-dry shrubs and cacti thrive in the few hilled areas, and the reddish rock that rises out of the desert are usually riddled with fossils, making some treasurers think that the Boneyard used to be part of the ocean, millions upon billions of years ago. The area is heavily prone to sandstorms and dust devils, caught in a valley as it is, which makes travel extremely difficult. The fauna here are usually reptilian creatures or desert mammals, often sporting skull-like faces and decorations on their bodies, which helps them blend with the many fossils and corpses littered across the landscape. Nearly everything is venomous, with toxins that can kill even the most resilient desert dragons, and non-plague dragons are not advised to hunt without at least one dragon experienced in the area accompanying them. Even with all the death and heat, however, many Plague clans like to set up residence in this area of the Scarred Wasteland, as the bedrock below it is spongy and easy to tunnel through to more fertile areas, and the harshness of the surrounding area minimalizes competition.
Do not think that you can survive here without a guide to help you. Without the Plaguemother's blessing, you are not fit to last the night.
