A long time ago, two ancient clans, one Ice and one Light, went to war. Both clans were full of different races of dragons. After much conflict, one clan fell to the other, but while doing so, both clans destroyed themselves. The first clan, who called themselves an Ice clan, was destroyed by the Light clan. Many of the Ice dragons found themselves encased in Ice-like crystals by a magic caster of their enemy. Their unfortunate fate was the very thing that saved them from their death. Hundreds of years later, the first of those dragons awoke. In front of him was a Lighting Banescale.
He tilted his two heads at the other ancient dragon, but this one, still young. And a type of dragon he had never seen before. A Fey dragon. After much doubt and hostility, he led the two through the caverns of his old home, which had been covered by crystals and plants, to discover more and more of his clanmates, incased in ice. The two dragons were able to awake his allies and break their icy prisons, freeing them. Until everyone, following behind him, came upon another dragon, not from their clan, but familiar. An enemy to their clan. One he remembered fighting with, one who had killed many others. Without the two-headed dragon's warning or explanation, the small child awakened the dragon, sending it into a fit of rage and hostility. He and the dragon clashed, almost killing each other before the lightning dragon, the mother, stepped in, stopping the two. The dragons made a truce After some debate, the Lightning dragon and her young son became the leader and heir of their new clan, knowing more about the new world these dragons had been plunged into.

Now, the dragons are at peace, still learning more about the world around them. Their leader, Anuanu, continues to teach and train them. Her son, March, has grown quite a bit, now a teenager, he's able to learn about the coliseum and history of their world. As eager as he is, he's still young and would prefer to have fun and explore than sit with books. Most of the awakened dragons kept their knowledge and skills from before their clan was attacked, and decided to keep their roles and proficiencies. Thankfully, Anuanu has some help teaching the dragons, Script, Laverna, _, _, and March about their world. They've recently welcomed another Modern dragon into their clan, Kiran. An Obelisk from a destroyed Ice clan. He's made quick friends with everyone, besides Script the Aberration, who took his time to trust the newcomer. The clan is still growing and learning, and there's much story left to write!
