Underneath the soft blue leaves of the Starwood Strand lies the Ether Clan leader, Melia, tending to several small excitable hatchlings in the middle of a clearing. Although it may seem that these rowdy young dragons would ignore this tiny Fae dragon, she politely hushes them and asks them to gather together in a circular formation. To her surprise, they do as she says, eager to see what their leader has planned for them.
On her hip is a book that has a lovely illustration of a tree with an ornate pattern bordering the art. Dozens of bookmarks are sticking out from the pages in a wide assortment of colors. She reaches for the book and begins flipping through the pages. She clears her throat and starts reading. Her voice, although sweet and high-pitched, projects clearly through the forest. The soft echo of her voice can be heard beyond the trees.
