Blood Moons
Blood Moons must have these physical traits to be part of the subspecies:
Breed
- Male: fae, guardian, imperial, pearlcatcher, ridgeback, tundra
- Female: fae, ridgeback, mirror
- Obsidian-Shadow color range
- Any gene except cherub, poison, clown, or piebald
Secondary
- gold-saffron, orange-fire color range
- eyespots gene
Tertiary
- Obsidian crackle

Blood Moons are dragons with wings that contain the very essence of Mischief Night- Halloween. It is said that, on October 31st, their magical energies are strongest, causing their wings to glow. While there is no set origin of these dragons, those of plague, shadow, light, and nature are said to be strongest. Since there is no definite origin of these dragons, personality and customs vary indefinitely- but a common theme is that their favorite nights are moonless ones, and Autumn is their unanimous favorite season.
