The Sjenan are nomads, directly tranlslated from their dialect. For non-speakers' clarity, the clan often goes by the Sjenan Nomads.
Founded and lead by Wyelib, an overzealous researcher, the Sjenani party is a small clan of traveling wallflowers who come from anywhere and go everywhere. They explore the world to appease Wyelib's thirst for knowledge, and his lifelong project of recording an all-encompassing encyclopaedia of magic in Sornieth.
To join the clan, a dragon must leave one's old name behind, in its place constructing a name that best suits them using our alphabet's strong symbolism.
"O" sounds are fit for the mighty, while "I"s better suit the agile. "E"s lend themselves to gentler folk, while "A"s, by contrast, take to powerful or hot-tempered dragons, and "U"s are for those with lots of patience. Knowing this, one can learn much about a dragon just by hearing their name.
The party jumps from lair, clanhouse, and domain in constant pursuit of uncovering Sornieth's deepest and most valuable wisdom. Visiting each deity's domain during each of their seasonal festivals is a priority, with so much of the different flights cultures on display! Wyelib has befriended wizened sorcerers within many ancient lairs, and uses the holidays as a chance to visit. To the dismay of the more playful members of the clan, a festival coming to a close means heading back out into the world, but there is always new adventure to be had!
