Nearly forty years prior to this day, a pair of Tundra dragons living in the Dragonhome, domain of the Earthshaker, took in several homeless hatchlings and raised them as their own. In time, their clan grew- due to both the hatching of their own eggs as well as their "adoption" of countless homeless young dragons. One of these was Tolkien, a handsome young Imperial of about ten years old. In time, he would grow to become a worthy heir to Ashweather, the aging leader of the clan. When it came time for Ashweather to retire, Tolkien and his new mate Vulture stepped up to lead the clan, making the difficult decision to leave the Dragonhome. They trekked across a myriad of lands, each as unique and lively as the one before it. Finally, they decided to settle in the higher reaches of the Windswept Plateau, a big adjustment from their previous home. Soon enough, the clan adapted and expanded further, commanding a respectable domain and thriving under the good graces of the Windsinger.



Please keep in mind I wrote a ton of my dragons' lore like 8 years ago and it's probably cringe. I don't care enough to edit it right now lol
