Despite nesting within the Lesser Lair of the Crystalspine Reaches, the dragons under Haanu's rule do not consider themselves, in any form or fashion, to be lesser. They are unconcerned with dominance and the wars against the beasts. What dominates their lives are the petty political squabbles between their elite ranks.

Dragons within Haanu's clan dub themselves Haanans and pride themselves on their rank within the clan. Those who are given the most honor wear sashes, earned from participation in the many festivals celebrated by the dragons worldwide.

Interact with this clan at your own peril. A favorite pastime among clanmates is ruining reputations and sabotaging personal relationships. One would think that the constant turbulence of the clan, the air thick with paranoia, would be unhealthy for hatchlings, but the clan has already reared several generations. The young learn quickly how to survive, and those that cannot are given to the Arcanist.
