I know the feeling. Since I buy so cheaply, I end up buying... lots of dragons. My friend is holding 16 project dragons for me. I have 4 with 10 more on the way. On the other hand, I breed so much that I make back what I spend on them.

I like XYZ dragons more but I think some people stick to triples or close triples to be safe... I've noticed that even triple leafs will sell fairly quickly! Triples were prestigious a year ago for status, but now specific doubles are harder than triples

It's true that people try to price doubles for more even though many are ugly! Just don't forget the AH searches daily; you might pick up some cheap dragons that way from unassuming breeders.

The majority of dragons I bought for my project were under 20k because I tend to buy from random pairs... and it also means they're all unrelated to each other xD

Take advantage of people breeding dragons for fun who happen to hatch dragons close to what you want.

That's not what I meant! http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=12589102 This guy was only 25k. He's a 1 egg from a pair that doesn't look like him. If I went to an established pair, obs/crimson/ice iri/shim/belly imps go for as high as 150k.

That's a neat idea! Are you gonna try to breed cry/face too? I've been lucky finding random dragons on AH. They're cheaper if the parents have wide ranges and aren't from hatcheries.
