Halcyoneus' Clan

The Midnight Charlatans are a ragtag band of Shadow dragons founded by a Mirror and Guardian pair. Though to most, Ultear appears the leader of this group, the real brains behind this shady operation is really Altear. The Mirror whispers her machinations into her mate's ear; he carries them out on her behalf.

The Charlatans make their way in the Tangled Wood by offering their services to other clans: Though this 'service' is less than savoury even for Shadow standards. They specialize in sabotage, trickery, even the odd assassination; sometimes for treasure, sometimes for favours, but always with a cunning finesse. Every dragon in this clan is an expert in the arts of stealth, deception and killing.
The founding dragons of this group are Altear, Ultear, Rayna and Felara. The latter two were lone dragons recruited into the Charlatans by the dual masterminds, but they've learnt quickly and are now among the top talons in the group. Don't let their relatively-dimunitive statures and quiet nature fool you: They've probably mentally-calculated a dozen ways to slit your throat before they even open their mouths to speak. This is not a clan to be trusted; for their allegiance lies not with the Shadowbinder, as a good clan's should, but with themselves.
