SpringSong's Clan

In the heart of the Wilds, light scatters dimly through the leaves and the air is wetter and cooler than in the more illuminated parts of the Viridian Labyrinth. It can be a dangerous place: it is too easy to get lost and fall prey to any of the myriad creatures out there who would seek to harm a dragon through violence or enchantment.

Clan Spring Song's dragons are practically parts of the territory's landscape in themselves: trees and flowers, rocks and grass, rivers and mountains and pieces of the sky. A wandering traveler may not even realize at first that they have entered inhabited land. They may not even realize that they've been guided for the last several hours of their trip, by Willow during the day, by Constellation at night. They may not realize the garden they've stumbled upon is Camelia's own or that the beautiful flower petals that pave their way come from Hanami and Branch.

They learn.

Soon light shines through the dense darkness of the Wilds: a long line of lanterns leads newcomers and old members alike to the circle of eleven towering trees that makes up the core of the lair. These trees have elaborate tree houses built all over them, connected to each other by rope bridges and ladders, with some constructions branching out into the smaller trees around the ring. The sheer scale of everything is astounding; in these old parts of fertile land, even one of these trees could comfortably house ten Imperials.

The ground level is also bustling: it boasts several gardens, a river that cuts across the landscape, warehouses for food and general goods, a furnace, tiny wooden houses for all kinds of animal companions, the clan's Nesting Grounds, which are entirely made of magical amber and shaped like a greenhouse, a graveyard with tombstones decorated with flowers and seeds, and who knows what else hidden amidst bushes and roots...
