SapphicSoprano's Clan

I am SapphicSoprano, but you can call me Raven. My pronouns are she/they. I've been a virtual pet enthusiast ever since my childhood as a young zillenial with nigh-unrestricted internet access (for better or worse, lol). I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to get into Flight Rising, but better late than never I suppose! I'm autistic, so it might take me a while to get the hang of things here, but I hope we can get along.


Cobalt: The founder of the clan, a gentle Tundra dragon who just wants everyone to co-exist beneath the starry sky together. Lowkey a himbo, but not a fool. Will only pause his magic studies and attack when his clan is threatened. Role in the clan is Clan Leader.

Novae: The first to join the clan. A cool and aloof Guardian who took one look at the gentle Cobalt and thought "yeah no this idiot is going to get himself hurt" before declaring that she was joining the clan as its head Guard. Does not know what a tsundere is. Role in the clan is Head Warrior.

Ammonite: First adoptee into the clan. Enthralled with the stars and outer space in general from a young age, she devotes her every waking moment to the study of astronomy. Has a bit of an intense personality, which can be off-putting to others. Role in the clan is Chief Astronomer.

Galaxia: Adopted into the clan as a Hatchling, Galaxia has not yet decided what he wants his place in the clan to be. Luckily Cobalt is very lax, and lets the fuzzy little Aether dragon do a little bit of everything so he can figure things out for himself. At the moment he's the Scouting Commander, purely by the default of not having anyone else to be Scouting Commander.

Gilde (pronounced like "gilded", y'know like gold): Another Hatchling adoptee, Gilde is Galaxia's opposite in nearly every way - perhaps a bit stereotypical of his species, Gilde has a fascination with jewels, gemstones, and precious metals, and has no interest in spending his time on anything unrelated to his sole fixation. Role in the clan is Appraiser for their Hoard.

Amber: Amber was drawn to the clan's unusually laid-back ways. Imperial dragons are usually known for being elegant, cool, and ever unfazed, but Amber never had lofty regal goals. She preferred simpler things, and was overjoyed when Cobalt agreed to let her live her humble dream of being Gardener to the clan.

Lapis: Fae dragons are native to the Starfall Isles, so it was really just a matter of time before one joined the clan. Lapis is another still testing her place in the clan, though she's made at least one thing clear - she really hates any kind of headwear and will NOT be wearing any hoods, hats, or anything else similar.

Nebula: An adopted Hatchling, Nebula shows great promise no matter what path he chooses, though Novae can't help secretly hoping he chooses to become a Warrior so she isn't the only one chasing off potential threats anymore.

Sun: The first Egg to be hatched in the clan! While the whole clan was surprised to be given the Egg of an Ancient dragon breed to suddenly (courtesy of Cobalt's family back in the Viridian Labyrinth), they were all excited to welcome the new addition. So far, Sun is as bright and cheery as her name suggests...though she has a bad habit of biting anything that moves.
