Generations ago, a little crested gecko wandered barren landscapes in the hopes of finding a path to the sky. The fierce gecko braved treacherous beasts and terrible bothers on his journey, but one day, all his grueling effort would pay off. Looking up to the clouds, he saw it: a dragon. "One day," he said to a passing beetle, "I'll come back as one of them." His pledge was heard by a lazing Guardian hatchling nearby, and from then on, the little gecko had a protector and the first member of his fledgling dragon clan. Now, with the little gecko long since passed, the clan simply awaits the birth of their prophesized king, little Kava the crested gecko.
