Refer to me as Eris, and I absolutely love the art in this game. I really enjoy giving backstory and personality to my dragons, so some have a bio. My goal currently is to breed my own fully radioactive/flaunt/flair dragon, since I love how it makes them rainbow.

Resting upon the shore, letting the waves lap at her talons, Rapata squints at the sun that warmed her her scales. The burning light darkened her vision; the clear blue sky turned grey and the sea turned green.

She lowered her head, as if the it had become too much to bear, but the motion hid the swallowing of her grief. The fierce brightness of that light reminded her of her sister, full of energy despite the eternal presence. Not eternal now is she? Should the Shade swallow the sun up as she was swallowed? She bitterly thought.

A starfish, discolored and dizzying to look at with Rapata's adjusting eyes, had attached itself to her shoulder and a nest of a foolish bird had spawned in the curl of her tail. Foolish indeed as it was already flooded, threatening to crumble. Almost on instinct Rapata curled her tail tighter, holding the nest together. Stumped by her actions, she unraveled it and swished it through the water, breaking the nest apart.

Lifting herself out of the risen water Rapata became aware of the shells that were stuck to her body. Molluscs. Mussels perhaps. How long must've she been in the water for these to attach themselves to her? She began to pluck them off, tossing them to the swarming seagulls. She felt badly for destroying one of their nests and hoped that this apology would suffice. The birds came closer and closer; eager to reach the source of food. Almost so close to peck the shells right off her, they all took to the air: startled by the sudden shout.

"Rapata! There you are!" Rapata turned to the voice, seeing Dren, eagerly scrambling towards her. "Everyone's been worried about you." He calmly pattered up to her, looking up with his four eyes.

"Are you feeling alright?" He asked gently.

"We should go back to the den." Rapata walked past him, not meeting his gaze.

"Are you thinking of your sister?" Rapata froze. Unable to respond. "Its okay to talk about it, you know-my dear." Dren stuttered, not confident about the term of endearment.

"She's gone. Because of them." She hissed.

"I understand-"

"-and they're getting away with it."

"We'll get her back, I promise."

"That won't fix it." Rapata's voice broke, sorrow crushing her chest.

Dren didn't respond, only brushing her shoulder with his head. They walked in silence, Dren's sweet presence soothing Rapata. Nearing the lair, Dren turns to his pained partner.

"We will make it right. For her. For Maeve."
