"Draic" meaning "dragon"

The Draic Clan is a clan of warriors and knights, a clan of dragons - male and female alike - trained to fight for honor, for family, for love, and for what they believe in. Dragons of all flights and all manner of fighting styles gather within its ranks to uphold the oath of protecting the weak and good and securing true and righteous freedom for all who have it and those who need it. Though the clan itself was literally founded on a battlefield, they are not a war-loving clan. The clan's sole founder, a fae dragon named Kadlin, created it from the bloodiest part of a war with no sides or reason, just chaos. She merely stepped onto the chaotic battlefield and spoke of peace so passionately that all fighting around her ceased. Perhaps they stopped because though a small dragon she was, her voice was like pure thunder to all who heard it, the fire of her heart shining in her eyes and empowering her words. The war she'd interrupted ended peacefully that day, and some of the warriors decided to begin follow and learn from the fae dragon from then on. It was on this day that the Draic clan was formed with Lady Kadlin of Draic as its leader. They soon settled their ranks under the rule of the FlameCaller, securing a home within the Fire Flight. it had been Kadlin's birth flight after all.

Years have passed since that time and Lady Kadlin has gone to serve in a higher rank than achievable in life, leaving her clan and its warriors in the care and leadership of her most trusted student and most loyal friend, StarDusk.Her name lives on as the true founder of the Draic Clan, a great teacher, and loving friend.

The Draic clan stands firm and steadfast in its beliefs as it always has, a beacon of hope to all who look upon it. It's inhabitants are chivalrous and honorable, and defend their home, hearts, and loved ones with such fiery passion as Kadlin once had when she led them into battle.

Thank you so much for the compliment for my dragons!! That made my day a little better. And I had no idea she got on the front page, haha, I believe she's the first of my lair to get there :p
