Glittering like stones between the cracks of a geode, the plague festers just below the surface... In the depths of the canyons, in the heights of the mountains, the disease thrives as it always has, sickly-sweet and smelling of rot. It curls in the talons of those who touch it, dirt caught between the claw, mud caught between the jaw, and perhaps the dragon has time to clean themselves before they realize it is far, far too late. The sickness will spread. It will always spread, and there is no cure, there is no use trying to stop it. The Wyrmwound is spreading, first into its neighbors, and then further, drafted aloft on the wings of mirrors and aberrations, festering in the sickly heart of all those unlucky enough to get too close. They take such pleasure in their sickness. We're sure you'll learn to love it too. |
