"Reality is a fragile fabric that is strained by time and tears at the seams, especially when its curious inhabitants actively pick at the stitching so they may harvest whatever strange fruit blooms from the breakage. The flesh of Sornieth is pockmarked with undocumented areas that are prone to strange and unpredictable phenomena - most commonly in, where else, the Starfall Isles, where life has learned to dance in tune with the strange arcane energy waves that radiate from the Wretched Lastborn's touch.

These areas are theorized to be "thin" places, places where the fabric is worn and tearing and something else is leaking in. Not all of these areas are dangerous, some only marked by things as innocuous as strange weather patterns or unprecedented population bursts of new and bizarre creatures, but regardless there is an unspoken agreement among every dragon and beastkin alike that there are some places that you just do not go.

Still, life manages to find purchase in the strangest places, especially when it's not given much of a choice..."

was in light when i first joined solely for the yellow eyes lol. if i could have it my way i would be able to be in two flights because i adore plague and its aesthetic but i eventually settled on arcane for its emphasis on embracing growth and change, its fairytale whimsy combined with it's eldritch underbelly, and also because i love the arcanist and i think that if he wants to blow up the world a third time he should be allowed to

i don't do the exalting thing often and when i do i usually breed my own fodder for it. if i do exalt a dragon it's probably because i've fallen out of love with it/can't find a place for it in my lair
