Lore (WIP)
A small but growing clan of followers of the High Priestess Holga, guided by her unusual prophecies. Their camp is nestled between pillars of bone in the massive rib cage of an ancient dragon in the Fishspine Reef. The group's figurehead leaders are Holga's mates Haz and Aerfen, and its heiress is her only daughter.

All but abandoned by the Tidelord, the oracle Holga continues to divine ominous, esoteric prophecies from seemingly otherworldly forces. The rest of the clan is her enthusiastic ragtag band of followers who believe in her messages, desperate for spiritual guidance and answers in the absence of their patron god.
The clan is both an oligarchy and a matriarchy; Holga's mates and children make up the Council which handles the clan's administrative duties; however, Holga's word is final when it comes to leadership and decision-making. Additionally, she is only to be succeeded by a daughter when the time comes.

Beneath the gargantuan skull of the ancient dragon is the mouth a rocky tunnel leading to a great underwater cave. Within the cave lies an impossibly deep pool of dark water, lit only by the bio-luminescent mosses growing on the rock walls. This water is thought to lead straight to the Leviathan Trench, the sea beneath the sea; alien lifeforms, purportedly accompanied by ghosts and spirits, lurk within the darkness below. Above in the cave, sacred divination tools--books, cards, bowls, various crystals and wands--lie atop black columns of rock, used by the High Priestess to receive her prophecies and seek guidance from the Other World.

The group seeks to make peace with the surrounding Beastclan groups; they have trade relationships with their Maren clan neighbors as well as a flock of Harpies above the water's surface. The Harpies trade weapons and deliver messages in exchange for exotic deepsea treasures. With the Maren the dragons trade food and tools in the spirit of a truce between both clans. Likewise, the clan has also accepted Beastclan ambassadors into its rank, including outcasted Serthis individuals abandoned by their former clan. They maintain a working relationship with their draconic partners, bookkeeping and facilitating trade while otherwise keeping themselves at a distance from most dragons. For example, a pair of Serthis archivists work for Holga and Haz performing administrative duties and participating in Council meetings.
