My name is Meeki, I'm a fifty-something mom of 4 and I'm living in the Netherlands.

My oldest daughter Kiulani showed me the way to Flight Rising in December 2021. It was in the midst of the Covid pandemic and we were looking for something to do together, without having to visit one another. And there we were, breeding dragons!
My son MdOvale and my other daughter Ireentje are also playing FR.

The girls and I are playing Howrse together as well, breeding pixel ponies instead of naughty little dragons :)
You'll find me there under the same name, so who wants to follow me knows the way!
And if you do, please do mention me as your reference at Howrse ;). I'll get a message of that and can send you a friend's request and a goodie, and we'll both benefit because the game will give us a little gift.

Before I forget to mention it: this is a non-exalting and non-reselling lair!

I've seen so many beautiful dragons on Flight Rising, some people really own a fantastic lair.
I have at least two of all the different breeds myself now, and I think the Coatls, the Spirals and the Pearlcatchers are my favourite breeds, together with the little naughty Fae dragons.
And the Sandsurges too! I have some great ones, check them out in the Ancient Breeds 2 tab. They're a favourite breed as well and, since their recent introduction, so are the funny Thorntails!

Though I still often feel like a total noob, my lair has been growing and I know my daily way around.
Sometimes I can even answer all Tomo's questions correctly without googling! Yay :)

I've been brewing a lot of slimy gooey snotty things at Baldwin's, and got to a level that I could start making new stuff like familiars. I like that a lot.
Meantime, I've got to the maximum level there.
Bonding with the familiars is quite the chore every day, but the rewards are nice. At the start of every new month I open the chests I got and there are often great surprises in there. New familiars for instance! :)
I like familiars a lot and I've started trying to collect them all. Some are wayyy to expensive for me, but I'm slowly getting there for sure. One has to have a goal in life, right? :)
I only need 57 of them now, most of those are very very expensive sadly or even not for sale at all, so I'm afraid I'll never get all of them. The Sprite series for example. I have an Arcane Sprite which I really love, so 10 more to go in that series. But again, one has to have something to wish for!

Trying to trade a little here and there, sometimes with no result at all and sometimes with surprisingly quick results (10 seconds!! and *poof* gone was my home-brewed Bookworm familiar! LOL)

On September 21st 2022 I dressed up my first dragon. His name is Sunset and he looks like a pirate now! And beautiful Rose got a few gems.
For who wants to see them: they are both in my Modern Breeds 2 tab.
Meantime also Glow, from the Modern Breeds 1 tab, has got a skin, some nice clothing and a background. I think it suits her very well.
With the new Mushoorm apparel, which I like very much, I've dressed up my sweet Coatl dragon Tifa. She looks like Little Red Riding Hood in it, don't you think? :)
And now there is Andante, showing her skills as pastry chef. I'd like to taste some of these cupcakes! And with the recent release of the new Crepe Connoisseur familiar she's completely themed up. She's also a good assistant in the new Canopy Crepes game! :)

Sometimes I do a bit of Coliseum training with my dragons. I still feel like I hardly know the A of the Coliseum alphabet, but still my best team got to level 25 now. Not so bad, although I know I made a few terrible choices while leveling them up, haha. With thanks to some players who showed me the way to some very useable pages with leveling guides, I hopefully know better what to do with the next ones.
Although I must say, I still miss a total noob guide about the whole Coliseum thing here. The topics I read are all assuming you know at least the jargon. Well, I don't. Took me months to find out what was meant by a 'tinctured dragon' for example :D

At the end of the day it's fun to play a few boards of Mahjong or a Jigsaw puzzle and make some treasure at the same time :)
Oh, now I mention the Fairgrounds, I've found some very useful guides to solve the most difficult biggest Glimmer&Gloom puzzles! Love to share them with you of course.
First go to this guide to get a bit of explanation, and then to the really genius G&G solution page that you find right right here!
From now on maxing out your Fairgrounds Lucky Streak will be easy peasy!

But there are still many many things to find out and I must say I often miss some kind of tutorial when you first try something new (like Howrse has), so any tips are still more than welcome.

High on my wishlist: to own an Arcane Sprite or a Snowflake Nymph familiar. They are both reading a book and I'm an avid reader myself so I really love these little ones ♡

Same - being high on my wishlist - goes for the Wind Sprite, it's lovely and I belong to the Wind clan so that one is still on my wishlist ♡
If anyone sells the Wind Sprite, or other Sprites because I love them all, for a nice price... think of me! :) ♡

Familiars! Ahh I love them. My goal is to one day own them all... Only 57 to go as we speak, but some of them are so expensive that it will be a forever dream I guess :)

I've found out shortly after starting FR that the community here is very friendly ♡
A lot of the beautiful dragons in my lair are dragons I could adopt for free. Some familiars ditto. So generous and sweet.
Rest assured they all have a good home in my lair, with good food and lots of fun.
And I'm not exalting them. If ever I'd need to free some lair space, I'd give them to someone who really wants them.
