The founding

This clan resides in a massive ribcage surrounded by what can only be described as a wall of individual sand dunes, tall enough to where on ground level, you can't see over them on one side. But on the other, it seems to slope down, almost like a ramp into the lair. A thin river streams through the entire perimeter of where the wall of sand meets ground, but there's almost no plant life.

The original founders of this place, Blay and Allic, had slain one of the largest dragons they had ever seen, large enough that it took them time and an absurd amount of planning to even figure out how, reason was not an option, it was mindlessley violent. This dragon was not that of any current day breed, and resembled something like an alligator, with large ridges and no wings.

Though it was difficult, Allic's talent of befriending wild beasts and familiar alike, and Blay's unrivaled skill in range, they took down the beast. The flesh and blood of the creature disintigrated nearly instantly, leaving only the bones.

They had soon, in the same area the creature died, found a cave system, walls reinforced with some kind of clay. There were paintings and sculptures, and symbols in a language they didn't understand. A time before modern day breeds, and a time before dieties, it seemed to tell of. A continent similar to sornieth, but in a different form, as if the shape of the land itself changed over the centuries.

However it still wasn't easy going from then on, the very next sunrise, one of the worst storm the pair had to endure kicked up, and they had to seek shelter elsewhere. When it had passed, though, the tunnels were collapsed, leaving only a few sculptures and fragments of clay wall with paintings salvagable. The beast they had slain only a day ago way now almost entirely buried, with only the ribcage sticking out, water running around a small hollow the storm had created. They decided that this, was a perfect place to start.
