you know, perhaps wandering into a lair of dragons really wasn't the best of the ideas you may have had within your life. red eyes glanced up haphazardly, lazy coils of smoke drifting out of the nostrils of a select few of the eldest. in the distance, a vague sound of metal against stone could be heard, and even further, slight drops of liquid falling from what could be presumed to be stalagmites in the deep. there was no treasure, no stolen princesses. you half wondered why those stories would have even been made up in the first place, seeing now that they were false; you likely would have wondered further if you hadn't been frozen in place. you were in the midst of dragons, and as they stared at you, some with curiosity, some with the similar interest of horses swatting away gnats with their tails, you found yourself questioning your motives.

"he's in the deep," one voiced, though you weren't certain if the voice was imagined or perceived.

"who is the one you seek?" another questioned, this voice more clear, like softly ringing bells.

a small clamour could be heard, likely coming from the same source as the clanging metallic sounds. there was a pause.

"this is a lair of conflicting companions. we are unused to visitors."

you were certain they were; with all the different types, all the different voices surrounding you, you could see that they were an odd group of reptilians.

"the dreamer is within the oculus."
"the plague is down below."
"the forger is in the fire."
"pick a path."

Returning to FR for the first time in 6-7 years! Be patient with me as I recall how this game works and get back into the swing of things.
