Basic clan lore:
There was war, alot of it. many died. skai, realizing the destruction around her, setup a refuge camp in the forest with her husband gale. she named it forrest-clan, for rest, hah, get it. gale sighed at the thought and continued working.

those left, wings torn, ears tattered and legs wobbling, silently followed their general, hoping he'd take them somewhere safe. The rest of their army were dead, or had to be left behind due to grave disabilities acquired by battle. Organa led them to a woods, quite dark and damp. the farther they got from their past home, the more relieved everyone felt. a rustle was heard in the woods, idle chatter...

Now, the clan is bustling, two clans joined together, half travelers, healers and lovers, half battered war criminals and stringent killers.

My story completely ignores most of sorneiths lore, besides the flight gods.
