If you were to find yourself in a darker corner of the Gladekeeper's domain, you would perhaps think of yourself as being in trouble. You might think things such as, "Good (Insert God Here), I'm going to be eaten," "What if I find a carnivorous plant? What then?", "Is this where the really edgy Nature clans nest?", and the like. And the feelings and thoughts above don't dissipate. Not when you get caught in brambles. Not when you hear the rustlings of leaves overhead-- and around you... not when you find a grand, but decrepit, rotting, spooky manor in what may have once been beautiful countryside but was now dimly lit and boggy. The estate had been reclaimed, fully, by undergrowth. Remember that feeling?

It dissipates when you shudder inside.

The inside is perfectly intact: grandiose, such that you think you're seeing things. It's an Austenian fever dream and, given the exterior, you most /definitely/ don't want to wake up.

A tiny but intimidating Fae female greets you with a teacup full of honey and a reassuring welcome. Outside the back windows, the grounds have returned to splendor: there's a gazebo in the back, and immense flower gardens, with a weeping willow coating much of it.

But the front windows are boarded up. Vivian (the fae) catches you, and ushers you off.
