clan familial name custom: each dragons' surname [& by extension, first name] denotes their breed, w/purebred dragons having one whilst hybrid dragons have two: a primary one based on the breed they present as & a secondary one to represent the breed they have lineage to--the latter used by members of that breed

ex.: a nocturne+pearlcatcher hatchling that presents as a nocturne would be commonly known to family & others by the familial name 'yèwăn'; all pearlcatchers, however, would acknowledge them as 'biwatama'
