- - - - Through every generation and across every era, disease has been a constant. The inevitability of change has never stopped a fool, however—set on resisting their fate out of a primal fear for the unknown. The Broodmother seeks to remedy this. Her clan is a well-kept army of dergs, loyal to the Plaguebringer and Her mission. They accept anyderg—be they of a foreign flight or left for dead in the Wastes. The only condition is they must pledge themselves to decay and eventually give their meager bodies to the Wyrmwound so they may be made anew. There's no shortage of dragons seeking refuge under her wing. Alas, pleasing the matriarch is a feat in of itself, and few manage to escape the consequences of their pledge. Those who prove themselves loyal (and useful) are met with the vile taste of conquest. |
