Hi, to answer your question (quite late haha) yes, "Kruciatto" comes from word "crusade"! ^^
To add something from myself, your dragons looks super shadowy and fitting into the theme, I adore the design choices

I know that feeling! At one point I ended up rewriting most of human history. I actually need to finish working on the world building for that one. (Since I lost a chunk of the world building)

I've got a friend I've been writing with for nearly a decade, so that sort of helps. One of them we've got at least a thousand years of history plotted out, and another started as a couple of fan characters and then turned into a massive multiverse

TOS is so goooood, although Picard (and Janeway) are my Captains of choice. No one can beat Spock or McCoy though. And I write fantasy, sci fi and occasionally ridiculous amounts of fanfic.
