The last remaining members of Clan Hydrargyria stood on the cliff overlooking their burning workshop. The combined attack of the Harpy and Serthis Beastclans took them by complete surprise and overwhelmed them in minutes. The Clan fought valiantly but they couldn’t save their friends - their family - from succumbing to the Serthis’ poisons and the Clan’s own evaporated chemicals.

They had lost everything. All of their research went up in smoke. A lot of them lay dead in the ruins of their lair. They had Imperials. They could only hope the fire damaged their bodies enough. The last thing they needed was to have an Emperor on their hands.

Pilot spotted a gleam in the distance. A messenger golem buzzed through a cloud of smoke with a scroll attached to it. A scroll bearing Stormcatcher’s emblem.
"We can rise", Pilot muttered. The Clan gathered closer to listen. "We can still rise. The Boss has granted us space from the Lightning Farm."

Oh, thank you for telling me! I don't mind if they go to serve a deity, just so long as they are named beforehand. Many people don't admit to me that they are exalting "fodder" so thank you again for being honest. :)
